Action Verbs to Play Great Scott in Allston, January 21st!
Hey all-
We’re really excited about this one. Ryan at RSLBLOG.com has put together a great show at Great Scott and asked us to join the bill, and who are we to turn him down. This is a venue we’ve really been looking forward to playing, and it’s got a great lineup.
We’ve actually played with Parlour Steps before and they are really quite good. After seeing this lineup I gave my first ever listen to both The Beatings and Spouse, and holy crap I’m duly impressed…these are two really good bands that I can’t believe has taken me this long to find out about. This is going to be an awesome show.
So here’s the info:

Thanks for coming out to Church!
The band wants to thank everyone for their support in coming out to Church of Boston last night. We had a great crowd and got a fantastic response to the set as well as all the free cd’s and shirts. We hope everyone enjoyed.
We’ll be back in the studio next week and have some big plans for 2010 that we’ll share when we have more info.
And look for new shows early in 2010.

Cheap Thrills – Boston mentions tonight’s show on their site!
Whoever runs Cheap Thrills – Boston gets a hearty thank-you from Action Verbs for mentioning our show at Church of Boston tonight and seemingly liking our music. Here’s the link and an excerpt:
http://cheapthrillsboston.blogspot.com/2009/11/wed-114-film-play-stars-rock.html
“Action Verbs and The Hollow Sound each offer a pleasing, poppy-yet-looser indie-rock vibe. It’s a CD release party for Action Verbs, and they’ve got a good promotion where the first 50 people that buy a drink will get the 4-song EP called “Meeting People on the Internet”.“
